Sassevaart is een samenwerking tussen BAM, DEME, v.Laere en ENGIE voor de Nieuwe Sluis Terneuzen. Ik ben hier begonnen als constructeur voor het betonwerk voor de sluiswanden en ik ben sinds nov 2019 actief als site-engineer.

I started with GEKA-BOUW (Dordrecht). This company is fused with CFE-NL into DIMCO-BV. And since 2021 our name changed to DEME INFRA.

Researching the reliability of a mobile furnace in determining fire spalling of concrete tunnels.

This was a combination between a holiday job and a parttime job.I was hired to do some administrative work and making packages of the structures that were built at the project-site including the concrete coupons, etc.

The final thesis was about designing a monopile guidance system for one of the crane vessels. Which was meant for installing the foundation piles (diameter around 5-6m) for an offshore windfarm.

This was my internship during the 3rd year of my bachelor study.Mostly learned here about the progress of projects and reading/ judging tenders.

My main job was drawing (with AutoCAD 2D) the widening of several road crossings along a certain highroad in the Netherlands. This involved drawing first the old road crossing and adjusting them for the widening.
