Als adviseur energietransitie help ik de gemeente Tiel bij het verder verduurzamen.Ik ben verantwoordelijk voor: • Het opstellen van het warmte beleid, de warmtetransitievisie en de uitvoering daarvan; • Het onderzoeken van de haalbaarheid en toepasbaarheid van toekomstige bronnen zoals: - Aquathermie - Geothermie - Buurt warmtepompen • Verduurzamen van bedrijventerreinen met de focus op energy-hubs en decentrale netwerken. Daarnaast ben ik aanspreekpunt voor netcongestie.Voor al deze onderwerpen geef ik strategisch advies aan de directie en het bestuur.

As an Ideation Consultant I'm responsible for Alliander's Ideation Programme. My activities and responsibilities include:• Gathering ideas on Alliander's leading Innovation Platform• Developing promising ideas using Lean Startup, Design Thinking and Agile/scrum ways of working• Organizing ideation sessions where we encourage employees to come up with new ideas• Organizing inspiration sessions to encourage colleagues to think outside the box• Organizing Innovathons (internal and external)• Periodically issuing Innovation Challenges (internal and external)• Creating Co-Creation Communities (Open Innovation) to collaborate with universities and other companies

As an Innovation Consultant I managed the technical innovation portfolio of Liander.I assessed all newly submitted ideas and used my technical knowledge to enrich them with a business case where necessary. Then I supervised the innovation process by using Lean Startup, Design Thinking and Agile/scrum ways of working. I regularly organize Ideation sessions to encourage colleagues to think creatively and generate new ideas.

As a consultant I focussed on projects related to innovations, such as non-destructive testing (NDT) of PE electrofusion joints, gas quality, moist gas and innovative technologies to remove water from gas pipelines in case of failures.

Kiwa Technology offers gas technology services for gasses such as natural gas, LPG, hydrogen gas and biogas. As a consultant I was involved in a large variety of projects concerning:• Redesigning the gas distribution network (length > 2.500 km) for an Eastern European capital city as part of a feasibility study.• Latin America (Colombia / Mexico): Assessment of quality and safety during the construction of new gas distribution networks.• Project manager of the project Monitoring Protocol Methane Emissions Gas Distribution in the Netherlands.• Teacher for gas network calculations & analysis.• Analysis of gas accidents (including Tripod Beta accident analysis).• Research into the failure of gas equipment, such as (safety) valves, regulators and piping.• Gas leak survey strategies and (new) gas detection technologies.• Researching applications to limit the capacity of gas delivery stations.Work experience abroad:Colombia / Mexico: Assessment of quality and safety during the construction of new gas distribution networks (2010).

Lamers High Tech Systems brings ultra high purity gas, handling and conditioning solutions to their customers. As a project engineer I helped establish the construction of the gas systems for the Shell Technology Centre in Amsterdam.

Graduated on a research project for a DSO in The Netherlands. The graduation project included maintenance engineering and risk analyses of natural gas stations.
