Program Manager for the Redstone Information Technology Services (RITS) contract in support of the Network Enterprise Center-Redstone (NEC-R). This is a 5-year, $65 million dollar contract to provide Information Technology (IT) services to the NEC-R and the tenants of Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama. Areas of responsibility include leading and directing a technical staff of approximately 150 employees. Provide resource estimation and allocation, report costing and burn rates, track workload trends, and handle time and charge code tracking. Other duties include compiling weekly and monthly problem and resolution reports for presentation to Government and Contractor Senior Management. Responsible for management of Jacobs’s contractor staff at the Network Enterprise Center-Redstone (NEC-R) Network Operations Division. Areas of responsibility included the Local Area and Wide Area Network teams and the Windows and Unix Tier 3 server administration groups. Provided leadership, management and guidance to approximately 65 contractor personnel. Interfaced directly with Government and Contractor Senior Management.As the Project Lead over the Network Operations Division, my chief role was to provide technical input and oversight to our Government customer, provide expert technical staff to support their mission, and keep them abreast of current trends in the Information Technology sector. I would assist in gathering technical and functional requirements, and then transform those requirements into functional systems using ITIL and NETCOM mandated standard methodologies where appropriate. I was responsible for designing and maintaining the enterprise architecture in the NEC-R datacenter and ensuring configuration control, as well as creating procedures and documentation to improve and standardize business processes.
