CurrentEstate Collection ManagementWorking with individuals and families to help manage racing and motorsports collections they have inherited or acquired over the years.• Organize collections to get a better understanding of the size, importance, and value of the collection.• Document and catalog the stories, history and information about the objects so their provenance can be fully appreciated.• Appraise items as needed for resell, consideration for auction, or for Date of Death Value.• Sell and broker collections for maximum returns by connecting buyers and sellers.Motorsports Event PlanningResearch, develop, and implement programs, events, and fundraisers that drive the mission, while events entertain and pique the interest of customers, applying best practices.• Plan and implement a traveling exhibition event honoring motorsports dignitaries.• Research and produce engaging presentations and programs on varied topics.• Design and deliver presentations on historical content with an emphasis on oral history.• Coordinate and facilitate high-profile guest speakers and the display of memorabilia.• Delegate responsibilities to a staff of 15-20 in the areas of speakers, catering, auction, stage manager, emcee, memorabilia display, and retail sales.• Design and create collateral, booklets, and newsletters that entertain and inform.• Research and catalog precious collectible objects for private owners and museums.• Develop an online database to manage appraisals and track collectible objects on loan.Clients & Dignitaries: Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum, City of Irving, Heritage Auctions, Autism Society of America, A.J.
