Provided in-depth research of construction methods and materials to determined safe load practices / repair / additions to historical structures.Key Projects:Designed a multi-story 24,000-square foot irregular shaped addition to a concrete and clay masonry primary school (c. 1930s). The design prevented gravity and lateral load sharing or load transferring.Designed of a framing system to support a new HVAC roof unit on a registered historic theater (wrought iron trusses on clay masonry walls, c. 1920s).

• Contributed expertise to several civil engineering projects including; interstate highways, interstate bridges, state and county bridges, state and county roads, WWTF, potable water systems, stormwater systems, sanitary water systems, county roadway maintenance assessment plans and construction management.• Designs included civil / structural / mechanical projects including; effluent pH adjustment systems,rehabilitation of commercial harbor dock wall system with an expansion to the docking facility, design of a stormwater diversion systems, modifications to WWTF, dust separating systems, bridges and roadways.• Construction manager to a number of commercial building additions and wastewater pre-treatment facilities.

• Designed a variety of civil engineering projects involving federal / state highways and bridges, potable water systems, stormwater and sanitary water systems.
