- Provide leadership in defining and implementing the global strategy for IT, Telecommunications & IT consulting category;- Create and lead the sourcing strategy for the category to deliver the lowest total cost of acquisition for products or services, while delivering improved value and service;- Develop together with the procurement team a pipeline of projects based on spend analysis which are fully aligned with category strategy and criticality to the business;- Lead global tenders & sourcing projects as well as contract negotiation to deliver best value and ensure compliance with the supplier code of conduct. - Coordinate and manage of all global procurement projects for the IT category:- Ensure that the procurement process is run in the most efficient way and be accountable for contract finalization and related timelines;- Act as the single point of contact in providing expert leadership to the sourcing function for IT category;- Understand the best practices in the sourcing function and to incorporate them into the category strategy;- Implement a strategic supplier management program and reduce the number of non-strategic suppliers;- Implement effective global contract management practices, supplier due diligence and supplier risk management.

As an ICT Category Manager I'm responsible for the ICT category of products and / or services for the benefit of all INFRABEL entities. I perform the necessary market research and follow up the purchasing dossiers from the request for order to the final delivery. I organize the award of the call for tenders and monitor the implementation of the contracts in order for the internal customer(s) and end-user(s) to obtain the goods and services in accordance with the Procurement Strategy: purchasing at competitive prices with the necessary customer service and where possible attract innovative ideas from suppliers in accordance with the rules of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) .It is important to ensure that all procurement procedures (for both goods and services) are conducted in accordance with legal requirements and therefore check the preparation and creation of the required documents associated with these procedures.I liaise with the requesting services to define the most appropriate procurement strategy.
