When I first entered the Peijnenburg gingerbread factory to start my part time job, I knew I would never leave the food industry. Seeing where the food I cook and eat comes from, and the technology and science behind the production processes, absolutely fascinates me. My food technology coursework and the experience I gained during my job as a technology specialist and development specialist, in combination with analytical skills and a hands-on mentality, helps me to get a deep understanding of the process and the product.
