Based at the main production location in the single use life sciences business. In 2014 Pall acquired the life sciences business from ATMI. I managed the finance activities in Belgium and FP&A activities for the global business. In 2010 GE sold its security business to United Technologies. FP&A EMEA manager role required communication up and down to make sure that everyone was connected on the quarter forecast, short range outlook and budget for sales, margin and base costs. Frequent interaction with European Leadership Team, Global Finance team and European Finance team was necessary. Finance Manager for European Distribution Center (based in Netherlands) covering the distribution center for EMEA, repair center, an assembly line and a R&D platform and generating a € 240M revenue annually. In this role I lead a team of 4 direct reports.• Increased controllership rigour by cleaning up the balance sheet and catching up on statutory audit delays• Improved relationships with other departments and external auditors• Upgraded controller position• Drive operational productivity by providing insight data• Conducted solid inventory count• Demonstrated predictability in results in monthly reporting to HQ

Providing Price erosion analysis by country, channel and product line and keep price erosion in line with budget by approving price discounts. Function temporarily filled until successor was found.• Assisted in large intrusion distribution deal for UK market• Combined this role with role of Finance Manager for Emerging markets for 4 months• Provided visibility to management by introducing price erosion overview by country/channel/product line in 1 page overview which is currently still being used• Trained new European Pricing Manager

As Assistant Controller and during the period April 2004-May 2005 as acting European Controller, I safeguarded the accurateness of the EMEA financials, improved controllership within the business and managed the consolidation process for over 30 legal entities. The business represented a balance sheet of € 200M and over € 250M revenue. Furthermore I was the administrator for the consolidation application (Hyperion Enterprise).• Implementation of various policies• Provide financial and accounting support to the tax department regarding acquisitions, dividends, liquidations…• Reduce risk in the balance sheet by performing balance sheet reviews and self-assessment of the account reconciliations• Test Hyperion application processes for IT SOX 404• Test financial processes of the EMEA headquarters for SOX404• 2 internal audits led to only minimal adjustments• Drove the implementation of stat-to-GAAP reconciliations

Reconciled the system generated accounting entries for the leasing activities in the Nordic region (Sweden, Finland, Denmark, the Netherlands). At month-end I prepared the closing.
