The discovery of process and product improvements on existing processes and products such as identifying new improvement opportunities are part of the day to day activity.The Principal Application Development Engineer defines the dedicated equipment required to proof the new developed products do meet the customer requirements. Once the equipment is defined the Principal Application Development Engineer takes care of the coordination of the quotation, installation, etc. of this equipment before handing over to the dedicated team or laboratory.The TS team is supported on program base or in case dedicated technical support is required. The Principal Application Development Engineer helps the Technical Service team to describe well the observed potential deviation and translates this into a specification towards the technology department.
