Bart Vanheste has 16 years of professional experience in the internal and forensic audit, internal risk & control environment, process optimisation & digitalisation, controlling and accountancy. Bart holds a Bachelor degree in Accountancy & Tax (2002) and is certified for 2 external qualifications: "registered Fraud auditor" (2009) and "registered external accountant" (2014). He is finalizing his post-master program in Finance at the EHSAL Management School. During the 3,5 years, he executed together with the team the different planned internal audits, managed the internal audit follow-up and reporting, started with the implementation of the 7-step Anti-fraud action plan in close collaboration with the Head of IA, performed Ad Hoc audits (forensic audits), contributed to the operational risk register & internal control self assessment and delivers consulting advisory services to the business.Before EDF Luminus, Bart was working as a Senior Consultant within the Bedrijfsrevisoren department at Deloitte (started in September 2002 at Deloitte Fiduciaire). Bart specialized himself at that time in Forensic Accounting, Revenue Assurance and Data Analysis, implementation of Risk monitoring tools and had performed different Internal & Compliance Audits.
