As a civil engineer in coastal, marine and estuarine studies, I have over 10 years’ experience. I participated as project engineer, and as project manager in various studies around the world and acquired expertise in hydrodynamic, sediment transport and morphodynamic modelling. My knowledge and use of numerical models has allowed me to gain experience in a wide range of applications such as water quality assessments related to the dispersion of bacteria or sediments, dredge impact studies, siltation estimates, morphodynamic evolution, coastal defence designs, recirculation studies, port layout and intake and outfall designs and several other applications involving the study of coastal and estuarine dynamics.
