I have over 30 years of management experience in a wide variety of projects and programs that include public works, insurance and transportation on a national level. I have developed an in-depth understanding of business processes and politics that are germane to governments. I have led asset management needs assessments, pavement condition surveys and right-of-way (ROW) asset inventories for numerous municipalities across the country. Roadway Asset Services (RAS) is an infrastructure asset and pavement management company providing automated data collection, analysis and consulting services to transportation agencies and companies to help reduce their workload and provide efficiencies in managing their asset infrastructure and determining best maintenance strategies. The RAS team has extensive experience with automated data collection, analysis of pavement and ROW assets, pavement preservation planning and pavement optimization. RAS is focused on performance-based analysis of infrastructure and working with an agency on the life cycle cost analysis of its assets.

I served at Farmers Insurance in various roles in Property Claims and Special Investigations including: Branch Claims Manager, Fraud Claims Supervisor, Large Loss Specialist, Sr. Claims Investigator and Special Claims Representative. As a Branch Claims Manager for the South Texas Region, which included San Antonio, Austin, Corpus Christi and the Rio Grande Valley, was responsible for managing all business requirements and ensuring optimal handling of all claims while investigating all issues and providing training for all business units. Additional responsibilities included conducting claims audits and supervision of a staff of 25 employees. As a Sr. Claims Investigator worked with the Texas Department of Insurance in investigating the largest insurance fraud scheme to be prosecuted at the time.
