With a brand new Ashley HomeStore showroom comes the luxury of handpicking my staff. We’ve been very fortunate to put together a fantastic team to roll out our new furniture store to the community of Greenville Texas. Part of the “Red River Home” family of stores.

Anchorage, Alaska Area

Joining Furniture Enterprises of Akaska as the General Manager of Ashley Home Store in Anchorage Alaska. This particular store is recognized in the industry as the "Original" Home Store.As General Manager, I am focused on most every aspect of my business including, but not limited to: customer relations, problem solving, mentoring, training, merchandising, operations, HR, accounting, budgeting and forecasting. I oversee nearly 30k sq. ft. of showroom. I have a detailed understanding of my inventory and work with our merchandising team to be sure we showcase the best of Ashley products. I recruit, train (using a 10 step sales process) and supervise a diverse sales team providing an exceptional customer experience for every guest. I work closely with an executive team of professionals who manage a group of national brands very rare in the furniture industry. Our Brands include, Saddlers, Ashley, La-Z-Boy, and Mattress Firm to name a few. (12 stores total) My responsibilities also include sales training and leadership across all brands. Our organization uses a "Kaizen" approach to our business. We practice a philosophy of "continuous improvement" through all departments. This approach has created a great cohesive team environment throughout the entire company. My time in Alaska was extremely valuable and provided me an opportunity to be a "voice at the table", to assist in, and be a part of creating change. I'm very fortunate to have been a part of such a unique and amazing group of folks.

Portland, Oregon Area

I began my tenure with La-Z-Boy Portland ( Six Stores ) as a Sales Associate who quickly became very passionate about the company and our brand! I quickly climbed the corporate ladder to become a part of the franchise leadership as an Assistant Store Magager, assisting the store manager with every day operations of a multimillion dollar furniture gallery. I also assisted the corporate office with TWI Sales Training of new hires. Having past experience with sales training and leadership, I was instrumental in sharing my passion of the industry as well as my knowledge and success with others!I was very fortunate prior to my departure, to travel to our Redlands, CA factory to view the production of a large variety of La-Z-Boy products. This experience gave me a whole new perspective of our business. I am grateful for my experience with La-Z-Boy Portland.
