Graduated in 1986 as Industrial Designer at The Delft University of Technology, Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering. Previously, he worked as a manager of product development for several leading brands in the B2B and B2C markets. As a designer, he developed various successful products and services, and as an experienced project manager, he led many complex innovation projects to a fruitful close. He founded DNAMX in 2015, a network-based strategic design consultancy that assists companies in developing and introducing product-services into rapidly changing markets.In 2016 he joined The Delft University of Technology. In his role as a lecturer, he teaches how to apply design theories in the day-to-day practice of Industrial Design Engineering to the students by sharing his insights, skills and experiences with them.In his role as a researcher, he focuses on designing servitization strategies for the technology-driven manufacturing industry in B2B. In particular, he is interested in how B2B manufacturers of capital goods can design product-service value propositions for end-users downstream of the value chain (B2B2C).
