Optimisation of transplanting tomato seedlings using a robot. Designed and tested a new type of robot-hand (the “twisting-plate gripper”), strongly improving the process. Won the best paper award: "Assuring Completeness of Transplanted Seedling Flats Using a Robot" at the Twenty-Fourth National Agricultural Plastics Congress, June 4-8 (The American Society for Plasticulture).
