After graduating in old-school graphics and illustration somewhere back in the early nineties, Bart quickly moved to digital design to work on interactive presentation graphics and award-winning multimedia titles. He designed his first professional website in ’96. After co-founding a music dot-com at the end of the millennium, his portfolio grew, firmly rooted in digital, with the design of numerous websites for artists, bands, and online media companies. On his arrival in Dubai (2005) he started working more in e-marketing and digital advertising, designing promo micro-sites and exploring user experiences for established brands. In 2011 he started working as Head of Creative at Rolling Stone Magazine Middle-East, where he worked on integrated proposals and new routes to digitalize the RS magazine. After that, he was Creative Director at Pink Entropy, a deluxe startup agency pushing the boundaries of the digital advertising landscape in the region. Currently he is Creative Director in the Accenture Interactive Middle-East Communicate department. Bart has a passion for art, design, and technology. In 2017 he graduated for his MBA degree at the Berlin School of Creative Leadership.Major achievements:Co-founding Atrecordings.com (a pre-iTunes e-commerce music dot com, 2 M USD Investment) in 1998 and building it up to become ‘a standard website’ for independent and ‘niche’ music. The company grew from two to 16 employees in one year. First company in Belgium to ‘legally’ sell and report on sales of MP3s.Design for the Award winning CD-ROM “Le Violon, des hommes des oeuvres”: Flêche FNAC D’Or 98, EMMA’98 nominee, Prix Moebius Art & Culture 98, Prix Multimedi’Art Bronze 98, France.Design for the Award winning CD-Rom “L’art du moyen age”: Milia d’Or Cannes 1998, Award in the category of Art & Culture, France.So far, three Pink Entropy digital account case studies have been published on Facebook Business Success Stories between 2014 and 2016.

My main task included finding new ways to transform the Rolling Stone print edition to the online, digital world. This with the initiation of new brand extensions like 'Street To Stage' and in combination with on-ground experiences to engage the Middle-East audience.
