With over 25 years of experience in physician practice management, I have a proven track record of driving growth, improving client satisfaction, and managing teams to achieve exceptional results. I have been focused on hospital-based specialties, exclusively anesthesia since 2009. My career includes successful negotiations with clients, health care facilities, and insurance plans, as well as overseeing and mentoring both on and offshore employees and management staff.I began my career with Medaphis, which grew through acquisition and became Per-se Technologies, then was eventually acquired by McKesson. During my time at McKesson, I rose to the position of Director of Practice Management, where I provided high quality service and achieved very high levels of client satisfaction. My work with offshore resources increased steadily both in volume and variety since participating in that company’s initial experiment with an offshore vendor.In 2009, I accepted a position with Anesthesia Business Consultants, where I was Vice President of Client Services providing expert business consulting and management to our clients in the Eastern United States. I particularly enjoyed establishing and maintaining the relationships with our new clients during implementation.In 2016, I returned to McKesson to become the Executive Director for an anesthesia practice with service locations nationwide. McKesson spun off our division into Change Healthcare in March of 2017. I left as the Vice President of Anesthesia Client Services.In late 2020, I was offered the opportunity to return to Anesthesia Business Consultants as the Executive Vice President of Client Services, where I supported and developed the ABC client services team nationwide. ABC was acquired by Veritas Capital and merged with Coronis Health in 2022.Sound Physicians approached me about joining their Anesthesia revenue cycle team in 2023. We have had great success in improving revenue cycle performance, and I assumed responsibility for the Critical Care service line in 2024.
