Responsible for the founding of this subsidiary for Webasto in Yokohama, Japan. Prior to establishment, conducted a comprehensive market research to asses market potential and feasibility of establishment. After gaining approval from HQ Management Board for establishment; responsible for all aspects of establishment, hiring & business transfer. From the establishment year, the company has generated profitable high single or double digit growth. Business scope grew from aftermarket box moving to trend setting market development with local product development for JP & APAC Markets. Most recent step of company development was the set up of JOEM passanger vehicle strategy & entrance into the market with an e-mobility product by winning Webasto Groups biggest project with Toyota Group.

APAC Region Management focused on two key points; development of further competences & growth in subsidiaries located in Japan, South Korea and Australia; while assessing & revising of regional strategies. Main strategy aim being identification of key white spots in region & development through project aquistion & region focused product development.

Assigned the position with the target of monitoring the forward progress of the Korean subsidiary and advising & overseeing business development, investments, budget planning & mid-term planning.

Assigned from HQ to reorganize and revitalize the South Korean subsidiary after several years for unsuccessful management, declining sales and unprofitability. Turnaround, strategy reassessment & restart of growth was achieved in 3 months. After fully stabilizing the subsidiary's financial situation & setting up a proactive team, final step was to hire a strong local MD who has been successful in continuing the growth. The hired MD has continued to manage the subsidiary and successful manage the company to this day.

Promoted to this position due to the successes in the QA Department. Main target of position was to rebuild the relationship with HQ and JP Customers which had declined due to several years of instability in the group and frequent manager changes.Achievements as Manager of this Division led to the foundation of Webasto's second subsidiary in Japan with focus on Thermo Products.

Having the desire to utilize the engineering degree in a more direct way, the decision to join the QA Team was made. Initially joined as QA Engineer responsible for US and EU suppliers; was later promoted to QA Group Manager with domestic and international project responsibilities.
