Designing and overseeing implementation of software products for several venture-funded and/or public companies. Major projects included:- white label online sales platform for a subsidiary of a $xB public food ordering company- automated underwriting system for a Series A fintech startup- integration projects for a $xB IoT pre-IPO startup

Interim/consulting CTO, hands-on development, building and leading small development teams for small to midsize companies. Business & product consulting for early-stage startups.One of the the major projects was a successful SaaS product in bitcoin-related field. The software was a low-latency real-time distributed application. The product dominated its niche market. I worked for the project as both CTO and Product Director until client's acquisition.

Took over product development of a niche sports website to help transform it into one of the most popular Polish sports online media, providing news, multimedia and live coverage on web and mobile. Built, managed and mentored a small tech team. Achieved a steady yearly growth of visitors and revenues which replaced previous stagnant-to-declining trend. This led to the acquisition by one of the leading online media groups in Poland, Grupa WP (WSE:WPL).

Founded an e-commerce group shopping platform in Poland. Launched in three cities and quickly expanded to a dozen more after raising a funding round. Sold the company during market consolidation period for the group shopping platforms.

Created a popular and influential blog (in Polish language) about technology, web industry and entrepreneurship, which quickly became a go-to place for technology news and opinions for industry insiders and media.

Led creation of a brand new social shopping product for Crowdstorm relaunch, utilising wide range of external APIs to aggregate and process different types of data. Hired and managed offshore development team members.

LEAD SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (June 2005 - June 2006)Designed and created data-mining application providing company’s market research branch with advantage over competitors. Led project to design and implement new software development process, including improvements in code management, QA and release management. Discovered neglected market areas and convinced management to launch dedicated products for them, which became successful.SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (June 2004 - May 2005)Worked on business-critical in-house software products for project management, CRM, billing and payments.

Created a small hosting company operating two brands in Poland based on US infrastructure. We were one of the first Polish providers leveraging difference in bandwidth prices in US and Poland (which was enormous at that time), delivering quality services at competitive prices to our customers.

Created online 24/7 coverage of the first TV reality show in Poland, Big Brother, reporting events, pictures and videos from the Big Brother house. The site became one of the top 50 most popular Polish websites at that time (based on Alexa ranking). This project was a spin-off startup created with my employer at that time, (Dom Produkcji 4e). After the show ended, we followed with a website with collections of desktop wallpapers and kept the position in top 100 most popular websites in Poland.
