Different projects in the field of sustainability, strategy and innovation for large and medium sized organisations in roles varying from program and project management to subject matter expert.Examples are:- Large change program requiring over 6000 employees of the Dutch Railways (NS) to adapt working procedures and work with new concepts and tools- Important global organisational change program for Royal DSM- European market entry study for biogas- Business Model development for a circular economy- Improvement projects for clean logistics- Smart grid business model development- Smart meter strategy development- Pilot project setup and business cases for new innovations of the Dutch Railways (NS)- ......

- In a project for the Dutch government (AgencyNL), I was involved in a pilot certification project for sustainable bio-jetfuel from Jatropha oil. I was responsible for the development of a suitable greenhouse-gas balance tool, and for evaluating the feasibility of this fuel to meet the criteria of the Dutch NTA 8080 standard for sustainable biofuels.- A project for the Dutch NGO Agriterra regarding strategy development and organization design for a Zambian biofuel association

This is a Tanzanian company with Dutch roots, producing biuofuels from tropical crops, mainly Jatropha Curcas. I worked in close cooperation with the top-management to optimize the company's business model and strategy. I was responsible for new supply strategies in cooperation with farmers, technical improvements in the factory, exploring the options for expansion to neighbouring countries, and the execution of a project to estimate the carbon sequestration potential of Jatropha Curcas to generate an additional income stream via CDM or a voluntary certification scheme.

I worked on Marine Technology projects and in completion of my mechanical engineering bachelor, I performed an extensive analysis into Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUV's). I advised about the utility of AU'V's, the market, and their potential use for the different scientific disciplines at NIOZ.

I performed research into material use and product design on the products of this Spanish truck parts trader, leading to product innovation proposals. Furthermore, I contributed to a market research for a specific product group in Southwest Europe.

At Stork materials technology advanced material analyses are done, as well as failure analyses and material tests. During my internship I did several analyses with mainly metal and metal-fibre combinations. I also performed many material tests such as hardness, impact and fatigue tests. Apart from the engineering aspects, I assisted in commercial activities such as contacting (potental) clients, organizing fairs and the preparation of external communications.
