Bart was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 9th November 2006 and was previously attached to the Litigation Department of Messrs. Sidek Teoh Wong & Dennis, Kuala Lumpur for 6 years. He was involved in Civil Litigation mainly practicing debt recovery and execution proceedings (bankruptcy, winding up companies & foreclosure matters). He later joined Messrs LY LU & Co, Kuala Lumpur as a Partner from 3rd December 2012 to January 2015 where he managed the Civil Litigation Department dealing with general litigation matters as well as providing clients with well-structured debt recovery processes which involve centralizing bulk instructions for issuance of demand to debtors fast and efficiently. In addition, Bart has handled issues concerning joint management bodies and management corporations. On 23rd September 2015, he was admitted as Advocate of Sabah and Sarawak where upon admission to the bar, he was retained as Senior Associate I in Messrs Gala & Tomik Advocates., Kuching (a member of ZICOlaw). He has since in May, 2016 been promoted to a Partner of the firm. He is currently spearheading the Corporate / Conveyancing Department of the firm.
