There is only one planet-earth, which therefore should be handled with care!My current employer is DNV, since 1999. I am a environmental consultant with a solid technical background and extensive practical experience (University of Applied Sciences). I have special interest in clean energy, Decarbonization and circular economy.My projects range from creating Decarbonization outlooks and roadmaps and validating businescases to technical energy concepts. I am actively involved in advisory on feed in tariffs for renewable energy sources and standardization of e-waste treatment. Also I am involved in e.g. Technical Due Diligence and strategic scenario studies. I have coordinated various European R&D projects, and lead a variety of commercial multi-client projects. Clients ranged from European commission, Dutch Power producers, Ministry of Economic Affairs & Climate, to oil & gas utilities, producer organizations and other industrial clients.Selected references:- Feed in tariff calculations and advisory (SDE++) for Geothermal direct heat, shallow geothermal energy, thermal energy from surface water and hydro electric power in the Netherlands.- Chair of CENELEC TC111x/WG6, on European Standards for creating a level playingfield in treatment of e-waste, recycling and reuse.- Various projects on Thermal energy storage concepts- Creating heating concepts and transition strategies for cities/regions/neighborhoods - Concept development of heavy duty vehicle electrification, including high power onboard ancillaries- Decarbonizing and Electrification of Industry - Demonstrating the reusability of End-of-life Electric Vehicles-batteries in smart grids.
