Over the last five years I've been increasingly involved in Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning applications, software systems integration, and how to address reliability and quality assurance in integration with other systems.My volunteer work includes working on Codes and Standards. I am a member of the ASME Pressure Vessel for Human Occupancy (PVHO), Mobile Uncrewed Systems (MUS), and Verification, Validation, and Uncertainty Quantification (VVUQ) Codes & Standards Committees. I also serve on ASTM standards for Homeland Security and forensic applications. I am an engineer researcher at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and lecture at multiple universities as well as being the Editor-In-Chief of the peer-reviewed Journal of the National Academy of Forensic Engineers.My goal is to continue to help grow Kemper Engineering, already providing key services regionally, nationally, and internationally, to one of the premier engineering companies for innovation, design, and analysis of equipment and products. I was also a joint senior engineer advisor to the manuever commander and acted as a senior advisor to the Afghan National Security Forces. As a technical engineer I advised on structural, piping, hydraulics and logistical aspects of projects as well as performing blast & ballistics studies as a force protection expert. -
