Vice President and Chief Security Officer for Frontier Communications

Strategic leader of enterprise-wide crisis management and global security programs. Identified and implemented a global emergency communications platform and threat intelligence and analysis program for all company personnel, facilities and assets. Developed a virtual Security Operations Center (SOC) for enterprise security risk and crisis mitigation, preparation, emergency response, and recovery programs. Participated in several Employee Resource Groups in support of company-wide DE&I initiatives. Served as a member of the Insider Risk Working Group (IRWG) and provided subject matter expertise for the development of the company's Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) policies and procedures.

• Chief Security Officer at the Minister Counselor level responsible for the leadership, oversight, and management of Department of State security operations throughout Iraq in support of national priorities• Lead a team of more than 1,500 security professionals and managed $1 Billion in budgets and resources insupport of complex and large-scale security operations in high-threat environments• Coordinate the Overseas Security Advisory Council for all U.S. private sector entities in Iraq, intersecting U.S.government and private sector interests and common goals

• Advised the Director and managed all Department of State physical security upgrades and projects worldwide, supervised 35 employees, managed a $5M budget• Revised and updated all physical security regulations, approved design plans, processed waivers and exceptions, and conducted on-site physical security inspections and program reviews around the world, ensuring compliance with physical security standards for new construction and upgrade projects• Automated and updated the embassy physical security survey process to enable real-time access to facility vulnerability information globally, and conducted a worldwide survey to identify and mitigate security risks, resulting in recommendations to improve security standards at approximately 275 facilities worldwide• Implemented a global physical security response program to provide agile and resilient physical security and operational support to more than 275 diplomatic facilities in 180 countries• Identified physical security solutions to allow diplomatic operations to occur in contingent and high-threat environments in challenging regions such as Yemen and Syria

• Served as official criminal investigative liaison on behalf of the Department with federal, state, local, tribal, and international law enforcement agencies, supervised 30 special agents and investigative analysts, and managed a $700 Thousand budget• Managed the processing of thousands of requests for investigative assistance annually, involving complex domestic and international relationship facilitation and interagency coordination, and including the coordination of 300 international fugitive returns each year• Developed Diplomatic Security’s “Most Wanted Program” by utilizing the Department website to launch a worldwide informational campaign that identified fugitives across the globe and resulted in an increase in identification and apprehension of more than 150 international fugitives per year• Established the first Senior Liaison to the European Union, and supervised 15 senior liaison officers embedded within the interagency in the US and with international partners such as INTERPOL and Europol

• Directed and managed security operations at U.S. Embassy Skopje, Macedonia. Served as the primary security advisor the U.S. Ambassador regarding all security and law enforcement matters.

• Directed and managed security and law enforcement operations and investigations at U.S. Embassy Panama City Panama. Served as a security advisor to the U.S. Ambassador regarding all security and law enforcement matters in country.

• Served as a senior team leader for a six-member special weapons and tactics unit to deploy and support U.S. diplomatic missions in crisis worldwide, and conducted mobile training team missions in approximately 35 countries for U.S. diplomatic staff and foreign partners.

• Security and law enforcement advisor to the U.S. Ambassador and all mission employees; supervised a 25 member U.S. Marine detachment and a 500 member local guard force, lead an extensive physical security upgrade program, coordinated the Anti-Terrorism Assistance (ATA) program for Egyptian security forces, and managed interagency and interdepartmental priorities to U.S. policy objectives.

Eight years with the U.S. Marine Corps and a veteran of the Persian Gulf War. Served as a supply and logistics specialist during the Gulf War and at numerous Marine commands around the world. Completed specialty training as a Marine Security Guard and served at numerous U.S. Embassies and Consulates around the world.
