About Katherine Bartlett
As humans we are always learning, seeking knowledge and experiences that make us who we are. It is how we are given this information and our capacity to assimilate new knowledge and experiences that dictates whether we grow from it.My interest has always been lifelong learning. This has, in part, been driven by personal experiences with my children in the neurodiverse bright and quirky space and in part by many years of volunteering in pre kindy, kindy, primary, secondary and adult education.I have combined this interest with my other passion area of health promotion and work in both the not-for-profit and government sectors to strive for better health outcomes throughout the life-course. I believe we can achieve a better level of health equity for all humans if we build and work in strong partnerships. To bring these passion areas of education and health together I recently completed a Graduate Certificate in Educational Design. This has afforded me a broader set of skills to better meet the needs of any given target audience. Ensuring that regardless of the subject matter, I am able to develop courses, micro-credentials, training packages or other materials that effectively contribute to the lifelong learning of each participant.Newly certified I am ready and excited about opportunities in this space.
