I'm Bart.I facilitate meaningful conversations. The used to be mostly face to face. Increasingly of late I facilitate remotely too.I believe there are two measures of success in any work interaction. The outputs / outcomes AND the positive experience of attendees. I always strive to deliver both.I spend most of my time at 3rdView where I've been since 2012. MC and I have been working hard to redesign human experiences in Brisbane and Queensland for commercial businesses, government departments and not-for-profits. This is incredibly meaningful work and it's certainly been the most rewarding phase of my career to date.I'm a passionate advocate for Design Thinking. I'm enthusiastic about sharing my know-how and project stories with anyone who is seeking a better way. Sometimes I do this formally in 3rdView training programs. Other times it happens informally in my capacity as a HCD coach and mentor.At 3rdView we've applied Design to a fascinating collection of challenges including:• Improving the experience of people managing the affairs of someone who has passed away• Reducing waste and duplication in the regulation of the building industry• Improving the experiences of patients and their families in high-needs medical settings• Ensuring new products in financial services meets the needs and expectations of customers• Improving employee engagement for people working in local government• Helping legacy monopoly corporations evolve into customer-led businesses in competitive marketplacesI'm also a diehard football fan supporting Liverpool, the Roar, the Socceroos and the Matildas. I coach U16 youth premier league in Brisbane. It's fascinating how transferable the skills are between facilitating business workshops and coaching football.
