In my role as a Small Business Consultant, I was responsible for understanding my client's business and making specific recommendations based upon their needs, timeline and budget. Small Business Owners relied on me to present professional and comprehensive solutions to help manage their cash flow, employees, and stay compliant with increasingly complex tax laws. I’m at my best when I’m helping Business Owners increase their efficiency, reduce their operating overhead and focus on the things they do best—serve their customers with innovative products and services.

On a mowing crew, I would trim the edges of properties and around trees, rocks, mailbox posts etc. with a trimmer before blowing any clipping that made their way into the street or sidewalks back into the yard.After a month of mowing, I was placed on an auxiliary team where I was responsible for many different miscellaneous projects: several landscaping projects, installing an irrigation system, brush cleanups, tree removal, fertilization, and shrub trimming.

At the Eden Prairie Taco Bell, I quickly became a service champion, excelling through the inside cash register, order taker, and drive through positions. I was then cross trained to become a food champion working on the line as a griller, stuffer and expeditor. My hard work ethic was acknowledged when I was awarded employee of the week for ten consecutive weeks. Later I became a Shift trainer where I successfully trained two new employees, one as a service champion and one as a food champion.

I worked in the bikes and fitness departments where I spent most of my time answering questions and selling bikes, treadmills, weight lifting equipment, roller blades and other fitness equipment. The bike department was next to the kayak and camping departments so I would often help out in those departments when needed. During down time, I would build bikes to replenish the ones sold on the sales floor. I was awarded the top seller of bike protection plans one quarter out of the four individuals working in the bike department.
