Administration of high performant, world wide, event based www.motogp.com site.MotoGP.com is the official website of the biggest motorcyclist competition in the world.The website offers live-video service and real-time motorcycles telemetry to users and TV Broadcasters.The main goal was to maintain the site up & running on the huge spikes of wold wide transit especially during the MotoGP races.The platform was an hybrid of the AWS cloud and on-premise servers using Debian, NGINX, PHP-FPM and MySQL.High transit sites with world wide impact has many implications to take care of such as offering good latency all over the world by fine tuning the CDN (Akamai), distributing the database in an smart way and relaying on well used cache systems (memcache).Executed the project to migrate the on-premise part of the platform to the HPE cloud, creating a configuration management system based on Debian packages that ruled the migration. The configuration management system then became the one used by the whole platform as also standardizing the AWS cloud that was rearchitecturated.Also other tools to monitor the live-video, debug the CDN, visualize real-time incidents during the events where developed.

Design, plan, get funds & execute a International Cooperation program to create computer lab on Kathmandu for Rural Women.The project was granted by the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and RUWON Nepal that allowed us to bring 10 laptops to Nepal and teach digital alfabetizaron on Nepal for two months.Really proud that one of the students (was 14 at the time), now has a degree on Computer Science and is working using Python.
