Barton is currently President at E-Motion Management. E-Motion specializes in two fields: Equipment leasing and Strategic, Sales Consultation. Barton was Vice President Sales & Marketing for CAD Railway Industries Ltd. His responsibilities included leading a team of Sales professionals in Canada and the US in order to maintain and grow current business. Barton was also responsible for all facets of Marketing and customer experience across the organization. He was Director of Business Development – AmericasEquipment & Control/Vortok/TCS/Rosenqvist at Pandrol.His previous role was: Director of Sales-Canada, for the Central Maine & Quebec Railway, reporting to their Chief Commercial Officer. Barton’s responsibilities included Transport Sales in Canada, as well as a liaison between the CMQR, other railroads, and Municipal, Provincial and Federal Governments.He was Regional Sales Manager at the Holland Company, based out of Crete, IL. Asides from his sales and marketing responsibilities for Eastern Canada and North Eastern USA, Barton was also the main point of contact and liaison for CN’s International HQ. Before joining the railroad industry, Barton worked for companies such as UPS, Anheuser-Busch Inbev, Molson-Coors and Coca-Cola. Barton held many different positions for these companies in Marketing, Sales and Distribution capacities. Barton has always been successful in results, coaching and team work. Customers and colleagues do appreciate his integrity, candor and dedication. In 2010, Barton began his career in the railway industry with Hulcher Services as National Account Manager, handling the CN Account. He then worked for Sears, as their National Account Manager for their Transport division, handling high-level accounts such as PepsiCo, Michelin, Goodyear, Domtar and Cascades, amongst others. His adventure with Cad Rail, began in Early 2023. Proven leader and results oriented, Barton is looking forward to his future in the railroad industry and is excited to help the industry grow in a safe and prosperous manner. He is looking forward to helping Cad Rail push through harsh economic times and find new and innovative offerings to help railroads, the backbone of the Canadian economy, establish new heights.
