Explored disparities in population attributable fractions for cancer risk factors across USA; managed REDCap database and abstracted clinical data from Epic electronic health records as part of the Tempus Priority Study [NCT05179824]; assisted in writing a Manual of Operations for a $31 million, PCORI-funded, randomized control trial on cardiac resynchronization therapy in heart failure patients, and managed ten study sites participating in the trial [NCT05650658].

Completed a Research in Medicine (RIM) project during medical school with a paid studentship. Study entitled, "Regional comparisons of associations between physical activity levels and cardiovascular disease: The story of Atlantic Canada," which was published in the Canadian Journal of Cardiology Open. Conceptualized the study design and completed ethics and data access applications, data analysis with Stata, and manuscript write-up and revisions. Project recognized by the medical school with an award for the best research project in cardiovascular diseases during the 4 years of the MD program, and with a conference scholarship and travel award.

Researched developments on interdisciplinary health care teams and cancer drug funding, focusing on Canada.

Provided respite care to elderly individuals. This included companionship, serving meals, ensuring medications were taken, assisting in personal hygiene, and also house cleaning. Improved overall health of clients by promoting and focusing on the biopsychosocial determinants of health.

Conducted a preliminary data analysis and explored literature on Canadians living with neurological conditions, identifying predictors of unmet needs for activities of daily living.

Provided non-emergency transportation for patients with various ailments to medical appointments across Southern Ontario, Canada. Ensured safe transportation by collaborating with physicians and nurses, by following appropriate infection control precautions, by completing patient care reports (medical histories and GCS vitals), and through regular vehicular inspections.

Participated in a project that involved the evaluation of an online Iconic Pain Assessment Tool (IPAT) and its utility for patients in chronic pain. Conducted wet lab experiments with rat models of Central Post-Stroke Pain (CPSP).
