Responsibilities:• Research work in various national scientific projects in the field of transport and mobility funded by FFG (Austrian Research Promotion Agency), as well as collaboration in regional and local research initiatives.• Own research in the discipline of transport modelling and travel behavior with an aim to complete a PhD thesis in 2020.• Participation in scientific conferences.• Teaching: Traffic Management and Telematics, Transport Modelling.• Supervising students' master's and bachelor's theses.

Responsibilities:Involved in delivering projects for Transport for London and local authorities in the UK. Highly advanced traffic modelling in VISSIM with the use of VisVAP and signal control designs in LinSig according to TfL Model Auditing Process (MAP) Stages 1-5. Selected projects:• Highbury Corner Traffic Modelling (Transport for London) – reviewing the existing networks, calibrating and validating the base and proposed models in PTV VISSIM according to VMAP, testing/refining the proposed schemes,• Cycle Enfield “Mini Holland” (London Borough of Enfield) – primarily involved in building and validating VISSIM models for Enfield Town and A1010 South route according to TfL VMAP guidelines; working closely with the urban realm and traffic engineering teams to refine the preferred scheme options,• Ashted Circus Traffic Modelling (Birmingham City Council) – preparing the VISSIM base network models for the area of Ashted Circus and adjacent junctions; calibrating and validating the model with the survey data and developing a thorough model for the proposed scheme.
