As a Head of IT Security my role encompasses delivery & compliance of security aspects of IT within the organisation. As the company expanded following successful funding round, IT Ops dept. grew to a bigger size. I have been brought to the company in order to take over the whole IT operations. That involved network redesign, AWS VPC management for customers live platforms, introduction of in-house monitoring system, complying with security requirements and introduction of many security measures for various systems. Management of a small IT team and over 250 AWS instances running Linux and local HVMs with KVM with help of Salt (automation), Atlassian (Bamboo/Jira/Bitbucket), Shinken (monitoring), Graphite and ELK stack. Mongo and MySQL DBa. As this is a small team I have a have hands-on approach with all technologies we use.
