As an Associate Software Engineer L2, I continued my work on the tail end of the CAP project before moving on to lead and contribute to several other high-visibility internal projects, further expanding my knowledge of front-end development and accessibility.Sales Accelerator Project: Responsible for connecting APIs and creating reusable front-end components using React, TypeScript, TailwindCSS and Redux. By utilizing Redux, we were able to create reusable components that interacted seamlessly with the back-end, ensuring consistent and reliable data flow throughout the app. The project aimed to improve internal collaboration and visibility across Sapient’s extended network, with my contributions helping streamline processes and enhance functionality.Black Art Forms Project: Improved the site’s accessibility, performance, and overall user experience. By enhancing key features such as horizontal scrolling and page optimization, I ensured that the platform delivered a modern, seamless experience for users while promoting Black artists and their work.enABLE Hackathon: Led the 2022 enABLE Hackathon, an event that brought global teams together to develop innovative solutions around accessibility. I played a key role in organizing the event, managing stakeholders, and ensuring the success of the hackathon, further showcasing my leadership and technical skills.

Promoted to Associate Software Engineer L1, I took on larger responsibilities, including a lead role in the Cloud Accelerator Platform (CAP) project, which focused on helping large enterprises like NatWest Bank fully utilize cloud solutions through the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Cloud Accelerator Platform (CAP): Worked extensively on a project designed to help large companies, such as NatWest Bank, adopt and maximize the benefits of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for their digital infrastructure. Developed dynamic UI components using React, TypeScript, Material-UI and Redux, ensuring they were responsive and accessible. Redux played a crucial role in managing global state across the app, especially in handling complex data flows and API calls. This allowed for efficient state management and improved the scalability of the application. CAP was designed to provide a comprehensive pathfinder for businesses to scale their cloud capabilities using GCP. My role involved API integration, testing, and optimizing for performance. This project had a direct impact on improving the scalability and operational efficiency of large companies like NatWest by enhancing their cloud infrastructure.

As a Junior Software Engineer, I worked on high-impact projects for global clients like Unilever and Philip Morris International (PMI), gaining hands-on experience with front-end technologies such as SCSS, HTML, Handlebars, and JavaScript.Unilever Project: Collaborated with designers and back-end teams to create and style front-end components that met Unilever’s stringent design and accessibility standards. I was responsible for ensuring components were reusable and optimized, contributing to a more efficient development process. My proactive approach allowed me to independently manage complex components and speed up project delivery, which was also enhanced by the use of AEM.PMI Project: I played a key role in migrating PMI’s component library to StoryBook using React and ES6, optimizing the scalability and maintainability of the codebase. I was deeply involved in discussions with designers and the tech lead, helping streamline design decisions that enhanced the product’s usability and visual appeal.

Setting up venue, barriers, crowd-barriers and getting the venue ready for an event which sometimes caters to a crowd of more than 4000 people. Provide good care of customers, make sure they can feel safe, prevent any altercations and deal with serious issues/threats.
