As Director of Product Management for Pearson Assessment Technology & Engineering, I lead the Core Reporting Portfolio providing the Core Data Warehouse, the Pearson Assessments Scoring System, and the Spotlight reporting system. I lead collaborative cross-functional software product teams in remote, hybrid, and in-office environments building software in Java, Go, Python, and JavaScript and building data warehouse systems in AWS Redshift and Glue, with all teams utilizing large PostgreSQL relational databases. I coordinate software development teams using various agile project management tools including Jira, GitHub. I coordinate product management and contract delivery project management teams using Smartsheet, SharePoint, and Confluence. We use Salesforce extensively for customer relationship management, customer support, and sales pipelines.I develop and manage budgets for the Core Reporting Portfolio's three development teams, capital investment plans, and vendor contracts. I also liaise with Sales and Contract Management, Customer Support, and Operations as a subject matter expert. I am PMI certified in Project Management (PMP and PMI-ACP) and an expert in project management software, including Smartsheet, implementing Agile practices throughout my organization. I am an expert in Salesforce Service Cloud, including Omni-channel and Service Cloud Voice using AWS Connect. I am a passionate learner of emerging AI systems, employing them to provide better service to customers, both internal and external, and ethical AI practices facilitating diversity, equity, and inclusion.
