With expertise in (tidal) site assessments and Geographical Information Systems I contribute to the selection of the right locations for our projects. With my background as coastal zone manager I worked on several projects in The Netherlands, UK and Canada. After graduating it was my job to coordinate and set up permitting for several projects in the Netherlands and assist clients in their project development.

My graduation was focused at the permitting process for the Oosterschelde Tidal Power project, located in the Delta Works in the south of the Netherlands. I coordinated the permitting process for Tocardo and was in close contact with several stakeholders. I also did research on how permitting processes work for a new renewable energy source like tidal.

In 2007 I went to Costa Rica with my fellow student and friend Lester van Slooten. In this period we traveled the wonderful country and worked at a volunteer project for the protection of sea turtles called “La Tortuga Feliz”. Beside the work as a volunteer, patrols at night on the beach and protecting the nests, we researched the coöperation between.

During highschool I worked at Albert Heijn. I started as forzen foods merchandiser. After 1 1/2 years I started working as a fresh foods merchandiser and made it to shift leader in the evenings.
