Research interests in the field of B5G/6G, software-defined networks, network security, real-time log analysis, AI and the Internet of Things. Experienced in delivering undergraduate and postgraduate computer science modules. 7+ years of experience in tech industry.I completed my undergraduate studies in Computer Science and I was awarded with a doctoral degree at UCD. My PhD dissertation was entitled "Application defined QoE-driven monitoring for real-time, business critical applications in multi-vendor Software Defined Networks" in which I proposed novel architectures, techniques and algorithms in the area of network performance, big-data analysis and network security. I have a particular interest and experience in the design of the Internet of Things (IoT) networks and in particular collecting, storing and analysing data gathered from intelligent sensors. I have recently delivered a COMP47520 Programming for IoT, COMP10060 Computer Science for Engineers, COMP20070 Database and Information Systems modules at UCD and it is my second year of delivering EE322 Analogue Circuits & Design module at DCU to third year engineering students.

Project ManagerUniversity College Dublin Sep 2021 - PresentDublin, County Dublin, IrelandProject supervisor for the "SPATIAL (H2020)" project, which seeks to address these challenges through a thorough investigation into accountability and privacy in AI powered security solutions. The project focuses on three specific technical contexts in which AI security solutions are being deployed: mobile systems, 5G and IoT. Besides technical measures to increase algorithmic accountability, the project will tackle the social, legal and ethical aspects given that such accountability allows for and can enforce legal and ethical obligations at an individual or organizational level. This will require an accounting of activities and choices for AI empowered security solutions, an acceptance of responsibility, and disclosure of the results in a transparent manner. -

Software DeveloperImeall Software Jan 2014 - Mar 2014DublinI developed an “Online Seat Reservation System”. The main goal was to create a reliable online seat reservation system for public transport companies. The system objective was to let the commuters book a seat using any browser-integrated device of choice including smartphones and tablets. The system is fully functional and equipped with operator, user and driver interface. This project received substantial interest from Wexford Bus and was introduced by the company in mid 2014
