After earning a Masters degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Arkansas, I have worked in software development and engineering at Acxiom Corporation since 2006.Working primarily in C and Perl on Linux systems, I helped integrate a parallel file system into a distributed computing environment to alleviate the existing over-burdened storage solution. I also provided bug fixes and new features back to the open source community and became the primary subject matter expert at Acxiom.I have worked on custom automation tools and deployment processes to continually drive efficiency and eliminate bottlenecks and break points. The service oriented architecture my team built and supports provides operations with an easy management interface into a complex production environment.Most recently I helped design and implement an orchestration tool in Java that provides visibility and automation to an opaque and manual data on-boarding process. The pluggable framework allows easy integration with existing internal products as well as third party tools like JIRA and provides dashboard style monitoring to client teams.
