Accomplishments: Implemented and completed the first comprehensive land use study of the Tegucigalpa watershed in 50 years Designed and facilitated construction of a 3.5 km wheelchair accessible nature trail in the La Muralla nature preserve for use by the national university and the public. Initiated program with local farmers to preserve forest land through the use of sustainable farming practices
