After 22 years of working in the Dutch national healthcare, in general and psychiatric hospitals, I made a decision which many people dream about but never dare to do. I sold my house, my car, quit my job, said goodbye to my family and friends and left the Netherlands to explore the world. During my travels I became a PADI Diving Instructor and as such I worked and enjoyed the amazing underwater world of our dear planet. In 2005 I ended up in Malaysia and started a new career in Training and Consulting. My actual working experience with different psychological frameworks (Transactional Analysis, Behavioral Therapy and Socio therapy) and the fact that I am able to compare living and working in Asian and Western cultures gives me a unique edge that I bring to my training programs. As a Director of SP Management Development Sdn Bhd I conducted training programs for companies in various industries, such as Oil & Gas, Banking & Financial Services and Manufacturing, for groups ranging in size from 10 to 250 people. My portfolio as a Consultant includes Leadership & Managerial Development, Team Alignment Programs, Transactional Analysis, Behavioral Therapy elements, Assertive Behavior, Coaching, Situational Leadership and Communication skills.
