In a matrix organisation I manage relationship with internal and external stakeholders and report to the General Manager/ COO. In my day-to-day work, I work with Xsens' larger customers and key-accounts and with the team develop custom solutions. The solutions team is involved in multiple projects that are the main business driver of Xsens' future growth. Typical projects are in the health and sports domain, some examples are: better recovery after anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction, or player profiling for professional athletes, gait analysis, ergonomics analysis, REBA, RULA, and more. ♦Leadership development: to develop Xsens' future leaders and to address organizational issues there is a leadership team within Xsens. Recently I took the initiative, together with a colleague, to restructure the leadership team and create a new initiative that is now serving as a platform for leadership talent development across the company, and to stimulate cross departmental collaboration.
