As Director of IT Infrastructure - Data Center Bart leads all facets of Loomis Armored US infrastructure,including server, storage, database administration, end point engineering, and cloud computing. Responsible for our overall data center and cloud strategies. Provides the technical leadership to implement architecture and standards across infrastructure platforms. Responsible for a team that consisted of solution architect level systems, storage, virtualization and application delivery engineers that defined the companies infrastructure strategy. In addition to providing third level support for these technologies to the Operations team the IT Architecture and Engineering team has responsibility of the Cloud Strategy, DevOps and Shared Services delivering commercial IT to sister Hitachi companies. Assisting them with Office 365 migrations and providing compute and storage as a service. Manage deploying the architecture, security posture and account structure for Amazon Web Services and Azure. Assisted applications and product engineering teams in their migrations to the cloud. Also responsible for being early adopters of Hitachi products and ensuring Hitachi ran on Hitachi.
