showed ownership and initiative by- migrating our codebase to a new updated tsconfig ruleset- taking ownership over Environment Variables- pitched & implemented Shared Environment variables - allowing users to share env vars between their projects, keeping often used env vars in sync and easier to manage- implemented Bulk Environment Variables - https://lnkd.in/eiKFXxDC - users could now create Env Vars in bulk via manual entry, uploading a .env file, or pasting the contents of one- Experimented with AI, inspired by Astro's HoustonAI - I experimented with creating a Vercel Docs bot - which was surfaced on X (twitter?) rather quickly :P - https://lnkd.in/e2KmTpHV- I was able to add my personality to vercel during a hackthon, collaborating with Yasmin Pessoa on an asteroids inspired game for the 404 page -https://vercel.com/404besides my own projects, I was able to support others - Support Center was going to be scrapped, by implementing smart caching and prefetching I was able to reduce the page's load time from multiple seconds (sometimes up to 20...) down to a few ms https://lnkd.in/erKTbnRs- Billing system migration - I was able to onboard early and create the foundation, collaborating w/ the billing team, allowing them to take it over quickly and hit the ground running while remaining confident in their implementation
