By taking on a lot of challenges within These Days Geert quickly developed in a well trained generalist he couldn't really be placed in one of our departements (backend or fronted development) because Geert was a problem solver, nothing more, nothing less. This problem solving thing worked, and it worked well. So the idea came up at These Days to create a team arround of this, a flexible team that lives outside of the normal These Days planning with generalists that mainly can and want to solve problems. It was more than obvious that the guy who lay the foundations for this at These Days would take on this team, Geert Barzin. This higly flexibel team maked sure that no problem kept unsolved and it wasn't long before the team assimilated sub tasks of the development team that needed flexible planning and problem solving thinking. (Banner & EDM development) Again Geert quickly adopted to these changes and found a new passion in Email Direct Marketing (EDM). The generalist became a specialist. And not only in execution but in every aspect that Email Direct Marketing has to offer. Geert has risen above the accasion more then once and I'm pretty sure he continue to do this in his future carreer.
