About Bas De Bruin

I am a proposition developer at heart. I love creating new propositions and business models and then scaling them up. I am passionate about making great impact through innovation and doing things differently. I have done so in many industries (finance, mobility, QHSE, e-commerce, sustainability). My trade is to create customer value by doing new things or doing things differently. I have done so within complex environments (corporates), mid-size companies and small companies as well as my own startups. I am well capable of working in small teams and startups. I have also led large teams of professionals and complex projects or programs. I love coaching (young) professionals in their professional and personal development. I have always been loyal, trustworthy and available to my team members, which facilitates a safe and trusting environment in which people can achieve the best results (both for the company as for themselves). I have always had an entrepreneurial mindset and I am deeply curious. This trade has led me to become an expert in many fields of marketing and business strategy. I have learned by doing as well as by attending the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences and Tias Business School (rated top 50 worldwide). I do master all disciplines related to strategic proposition development and proposition management, this enables me to effectively deliver fitting solutions to great challenges. I am deeply result driven and I am capable of achieving results fast. I am experienced in creating minimum viable products that optimize results with limited investments. I have done so within my own startup as for my clients. Opposed to many concept professionals, I do love the scale-up phase as the real proof of a strategy and propositions is found in the scape-up phase.
