As a (Financial) Controller I am e.g. responsible for:• activities related to the month-end-closing, like reporting, making analyses, discussing the figures etc.;• draw up periodic (monthly/quarterly) reports and interim balance sheets and profit and loss-accounts;• auditing and consolidation of the monthly and yearly figures of the group companies;• financial closing of sales-projects;• correctness general ledger;• VAT-issues and preparation of corporate tax-declaration.Besides this I am key-user, or D365-specialist, for the Financial department and was involved as key-user in the implementation of D365 Finance & Operations.

Scheepvaartwinkel(.com) is a wholesaler of all conceivable materials that are necessary for the furnishing and maintenance of a ship, such as tools, paint, lubricants, safety materials and engine room equipment. With its own delivery service, it mainly delivers to river cruise shipping in several European countries, but also has pleasure and inland shipping as a customer.At Scheepvaartwinkel I was responsible for implementing the new business software Exact Online for Wholesale Distribution as per January 1, 2020. This was an important step in optimization of the business processes and further digitalisation.

As a Consolidation Accountant I was e.g. responsible for:• consolidation monthly figures group companies;• evaluate consolidated figures;• supply information about financial figures and results;As an Assistant Treasurer I was e.g. responsible for:• management of liquid assets (bank balances etc.);• draw up reports about liquidity position;• give liquidity advises (e.g. about concluding loan-contracts with banks or about putting money on deposits);• hedge foreign-currency-risks and interest-risks.Besides this I was key-user, or SAP-specialist, for a few financial applications in SAP, like consolidation, general ledger, cash management and bank. Finally I was back-up of the Plant controller from the pulp-factory in Arnhem of Teijin Twaron B.V..
