I am researching the autonomous updating of dynamical models within a digital twinning context. My research focuses on hybrid methods that combine traditional modeling techniques with AI-based techniques to (online) update model parameter values and the model structure of first principles based model.

For my master thesis I am researching an alternative (improved) reduction method in a dynamic substructuring context (to be specific component mode synthesis). This work is titled: "Improved assembly reduction by selection of component eigenmodes using frequency-based substructuring" and was graded with a 9 (out of 10).

For my internship I did (numerical) research on model reduction for models simulating dynamical buckling behavior of composite panels. This internship was rewarded with a 8.5/10.

I have tutored in different courses ranging from German to math and physics. I have also tutored in mechanical engineering on higher professional education level (Dutch: HBO).
