Coming from a background in biology, I am very aware of the man made impact on the environment and how it is destabilizing our world. Therefore, I have made it my mission protect the environment, slowing down climate change and reducing the impact on our precious ecosystems and biodiversity. I am very grateful that I am able to do so while working at the sustainable finance team of ASN Bank.As part of my job, I analyse the climate and biodiversity footprint of ASN Bank and it's mother company, The Volksbank. Additionally, I serve an internal consultancy role, advising on many questions related to climate and biodiversity, from a strategic level to case specific investments and everything in between. To further develop methodologies and best practices on biodiversity accounting I am also part of the PBAF team. The Partnership for Biodiversity Accounting Financials specializes in enabling financial institutions to assess and disclose impact and dependencies on biodiversity of loans and investments.
