• Responsible for the procurement of service contracts, spare parts, transport, ingredients, catalysts, chemicals, utilities (gas, electricity, hydrogen). Managing 3 purchasers.• Member in corporate decision unit for large investments, negotiating the EPC contracts for biodiesel factory, steam boilers, hydrolyses unit, distillation units, Malaysian plant.

Europe

• Implemented the corporate energy policy to fulfil Kyoto requirements.• Defined, budgeted, planned, implemented and checked energy saving projects for all production sites. • Project leader in a joint venture with Electrabel for the installation and exploitation of a green electricity cogeneration. Participated in the negotiations of the contract.

• Coordinator and decision maker between the maintenance departments and external SAP consultants.• Defined and integrated the working procedures between Maintenance and modules Purchasing, Financing and Controlling.

Ertvelde

• Trouble shooter for maintenance department Ertvelde. • Project leader for small improvements projects e.g. an industrial chiller unit, debottlenecking fractionation unit.

Sas Van Gent

• Start-up pilot plant, responsible for instructions of operator teams.• Define test schedules together with R&D for stable production and improving quality of the product out of the new plant.
