At Essentium, I wear many hats. Everything from software testing, technical writing, field service and customer support -- to hardware design, upgrades, and product testing. My primary hat, however, falls under Process Development. This entails development of FFF profiles specific to materials for differing industrial applications. Development of singlehead, dualhead and copy mode/independent processes requires expert familiarity with our materials compatibilities, machine configurations, and the general 3D Printing process. From printing, logging, and analyzing thousands of parts among a growing list of materials, my team is responsible for the successful creation of these factory files, optimizers, processing guides, and TDS information with which our customers print fantastic parts for all applications.

Working on the Product Development team to facilitate efficient, high quality 3D printing processes for Additive Manufacturing Industries. Essentium researches and develops filament materials, printed parts, and the 3D printers themselves. This role involves utilizing software such as Simplify3D, Cura, SolidWorks, and STL and G-Code processing. In addition to maintaining and operating the printers, I am responsible for cataloguing material, rendering, slicing and printing parts through software and tool knowledge.
