I am currently a Faculty Lecturer at Istanbul Bilgi University teaching Unreal Engine, with a rich background in design and technology anchored by my foundational education at the Middle East Technical University (METU). Graduating from METU's Department of Architecture in 2019, I went on to earn my master's degree in 2022. My academic journey provided me with multifaceted design exposure, spanning from industry to urban scales. A cornerstone of my expertise lies in Unreal Engine and Twinmotion, skills I actively employ and share in my role at Istanbul Bilgi University. My proficiency in these tools complements my experience in Game Development, VR-AR, UI & UX design, and Media Studies, all of which I delved into during my courses at METU's Graduate School of Informatics and the Department of Industrial Design. During my time at METU, I collaborated with engineers to establish interdisciplinary project groups, enhancing my programming skills. These collaborations birthed diverse projects in game development, real-time media art, filmmaking, VR-AR experiments, and software development, many of which are showcased on my portfolio. Notably, these projects have garnered awards and recognition throughout my academic career. In my master's research, I explored the union of Deep Learning Models with Game Engines to produce 3-D models tailored for architectural contexts. This research, along with more details of my work, can be found on my website.Beyond my core expertise in Unreal Engine and Twinmotion, my skill set encompasses Filmmaking, Media Studies, Product Design, Building Information Modelling (BIM), Computer Vision, and Machine Learning, with a special emphasis on applications for robotics and multimedia tools.
